Software development firm which contracts with some of the largest companies in the photography and print fulfillment industries.
- Developed TensorFlow-based DNN models for custom object recognition in Python.
- Built a message-based distributed computing framework in .NET Core (C#) for highly scalable parallel image processing.
- Used OpenFace and dlib to incorporate biometric data into cross-event image subject recognition and conglomeration.
- Developed efficient adaptive algorithms to conglomerate images using inconsistent metadata for use within a larger pipeline.
Southern Regional Climate Center
Subsidiary of the NOAA which focuses on collecting and disseminating weather data in the south-central United States.
- Helped build web applications for climate data visualization and inspection.
- Used Python and R to run statistical analysis on massive climate data sets.
- Built data visualizations using JavaScript (D3.js)
The Daily Reveille
Louisiana State University’s student newspaper covering the University and other local news.
- Wrote multiple front-page stories about topics ranging from graduate research at LSU to events in the Louisiana state legislature.
